These General Terms (hereinafter referred to as “General Terms”) exclusively govern the contractual relationship between every user customer (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”) of the website http://loja.escoteiros.pt/pt and the Associação dos Escoteiros de Portugal (hereinafter referred to as “AEP”), owner, holder, and manager of the mentioned website, headquartered and with a store located at Travessa das Galeotas nº 1, 1300-264 Lisbon, Portugal, with tax identification number PT500989109.

The website is designed to facilitate the ordering and online sale of the products listed therein.
By using the website and confirming an order, the Customer accepts the General Terms. The confirmation of a purchase order implies that the Customer has read and automatically and expressly agrees to these General Terms.
AEP reserves the right to amend the General Terms without prior notice. Any changes will be published on the website.
AEP agrees to accept the order and sale of the product under these General Terms but reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order or purchase from a Customer in cases of disputes related to the payment of previous orders or if the Customer's data does not correspond to their true identity.
Essential Characteristics of Products
The products displayed on the website comply with the legislation in force at the time of publication and applicable standards.
AEP ensures that the photographic images of the products accurately represent the items offered for sale, with each product accompanied by as detailed and accurate a description as possible to highlight its key features.
For technical specifications and product descriptions provided by partners or suppliers, AEP disclaims any responsibility for the validity of their content. Errors or modifications originating from suppliers may exceptionally occur.
In the event of a significant discrepancy between the product’s characteristics and its representation, the Customer may return the product and request a refund in compliance with the contract’s right of withdrawal provisions.
Prices
The prices of the listed products are expressed in euros and include all applicable taxes and fees.
The indicated price does not include the shipping costs for the ordered product, which will be specified at the time of the order's final validation.
Until the ordered product is fully paid for, it remains the property of AEP.
Product Availability
The availability of products and corresponding prices are valid as long as they are accessible on the website, subject to stock availability at the time of the order.
For out-of-stock items, availability depends on the suppliers.
If a product becomes unavailable after the order is placed, the Customer will be informed via email or phone about the partial delivery or cancellation of the order, with the corresponding refund.
Payment
Payment for products and shipping costs must be made upon order confirmation using the provided details.
Accepted payment methods include:
Multibanco reference
Bank transfer
In-store payment
Payments via Multibanco are only available for amounts above €20 and are provided via email upon order confirmation.
Orders paid through Multibanco or bank transfer are only shipped after payment is verified or proof of payment is received.
It is advisable to keep proof of payment. AEP reserves the right to cancel an order if payment proof is not received.
Delivery
AEP ships products to mainland Portugal and the Azores and Madeira islands. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
For mainland Portugal, AEP uses DPD or CTT operators; for Madeira and the Azores, CTT or Porto Azul operators are used.
For shipments to other locations, the Customer must arrange shipping independently.
The Customer can also opt for in-store pickup after confirming the order’s availability.
Delivery times vary and are specified during the order validation stage and reiterated in the purchase summary email. They depend on processing and delivery times, which may vary by region.
The delivery date represents the maximum delivery date but will not exceed 30 days after order validation.
Delivery Issues
AEP is not responsible for delivery delays.
In case of delay or non-receipt of an order, the Customer should contact AEP, preferably via email.
If the order is returned to AEP due to non-delivery (e.g., incorrect address), the Customer will be notified via email or phone. If the Customer does not respond within 48 hours, AEP reserves the right to cancel the order, with delivery costs being non-refundable.
Once an order is handed over to a third party for shipping, AEP is not liable for transport-related issues.
Right of Withdrawal
The Customer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the date of product receipt.
Withdrawal can be requested by completing and submitting the legal form to the contact details provided at the start of the General Terms, including the email used in the order.
Certain items, such as customized products, perishable goods, or personal/intimate items once used, are exempt from withdrawal.
Returns
Returns due to non-compliance or withdrawal must adhere to the following conditions:
a) Products must show no signs of use.
b) Products must be returned in their original packaging, with any accessories and documents included.
c) Intimate or personal-use items (e.g., socks) are not eligible for return.
Return shipping costs are the Customer's responsibility.
Refunds for the purchase price will be issued within 14 days of withdrawal or product receipt, via bank transfer.
Defective items will be replaced or refunded without additional cost to the Customer.
Partial returns do not entitle Customers to delivery cost refunds.
Warranty
Product warranty conditions are detailed on the website and are not provided directly by AEP.
Personal Data Protection
Personal data collected by AEP, including name, tax identification number, address, email, and phone contacts, is used exclusively for contractual purposes to process and deliver purchased goods, comply with legal obligations, and may be shared with third parties for shipping purposes.
Customers have the right to access, rectify, remove, or object to their data.
